  Had a great time at this property, but there is always room for improvement. The property is starting to show it's age, it needs new cookware and toilet seats. And you have to get rid of that red pole that makes it nearly impossible to park a van type vehicle.

  some windows were not operable (broken) and the middle section of blinds (the largest part) did not go down making the sun an enemy before the sunset but the biggest thing was the oven did not work correctly - had a group come over for dinner scheduled for 6 so put frozen lasagna in at 3 (should have taken 2 hours and 15 minutes max @ 375 degrees) well at 5:15 some of the lasagna was still frozen in the middle - turned the oven up to 500 degress and see if that made a difference - had to go to Luigis and get back up meals for all my guests. It was very embarassing. When you pay over $XXXX a week for a vacation home, you expect things to work.....the windows (to try to shut out noisy neighbors) the automatic blinds (to shut out the blinding sun in the afternoon) and the oven (to make a simple meal for 20) were all unacceptable and they need to be repaired. Although, these were not communicated to SDVR during our stay, I am using this forum to document our complaint, so other guests do not have to put up with these things. And, hopefully, they will not be an issue again. We have been here for years and love this place as it is close to the rest of our family but for this price, my expectations were not met.
