Calm Coastal Retreat

Beautiful house in a peaceful/private place with park and lake near. However, unfortunately not the cleanest. Some areas were left poorly cleaned. Some Furniture dirty. If there’s more than 6 people, the rest will have to sleep on the not very comfortable sofas that could be unfolded. If you are planning to cook at home, there is only one mid sized pot, one mid frying pan, ( and the rest are on the smaller size. But some good things- a lot of other cooking devices, + air frier, coffee Machines, and dishes / silver ware and dishwasher with the cleaning pods. Also, great smelling little shampoo / conditioner bottles ( like in hotels type) and small soap bars which was very helpful. Also really liked the fans/ lights in every room which could be turned on/off with a remote.

The home was beautiful and a great location. We were close to every place we needed to be over the weekend. Close to shopping centers and gas stations.
It was 8 of us and I was happy too see that we had lots of space to move around and not feel packed into a house.
We did utilize the full kitchen and it had the necessary items needed to prepare home cooked meals.
Only thing I would have liked is if the property had more than just salt for seasoning available. People who travel don’t necessarily pack food seasonings, and it’s a hassle to have to buy seasonings and then travel home with them.
Other than that- we enjoyed the home and Oceanside, California! Thank you!

Loved hosting your group for a weekend in Oceanside! We’re so glad the home gave all eight of you plenty of room to stretch out and that the central location made getting around to shopping and local spots super convenient. It’s awesome to hear you made good use of the full kitchen for your home-cooked meals, and we completely hear you on the seasonings—that’s such a helpful, practical tip for travelers, and we’ll definitely look into stocking a basic spice rack for future stays!
