Coastal Hideaway

This place was a great value. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. Location is amazing- half a block from the ocean! There is no AC so that was tough- it was very hot in August. I wish they had an umbrella on the roof top deck with tables and chairs set up to eat up there. It was disappointing that it was so tough to hang out there - too hot in the sun and not set up well.

The best thing about this Airbnb is the location. Just a couple blocks away from one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to! The hot tub was really clean and warm. The shower and bed were clean and comfortable. The Airbnb itself is a little small in size, but still really worth it for overall value!

This Airbnb couldn’t have been in a better location. We did not get to use the rooftop patio much because I had injured myself and I was resting. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. When I was feeling good, we walked to nearby restaurants and sites as well as the cute natural grocery store a block away. The beach is very close which is great. The host was responsive and having designated parking is a definite plus.

We enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. Place was perfect for my husband and myself. It is an older place but perfect for our needs since we were in town for a wedding and we basically just slept there. We loved walking down to the beach everynight to see the sun set.

Kimberley's place was amazing! She was incredibly accommodating, and her home couldn't have been cuter. The location was fantastic, from the quick walks to the beach or local restaurants, the view, and even quick drives to popular spots. It felt safe and homey. All of the amenities are wonderful, and the game room and hot tub were fun additions as part of the stay. I would highly recommend!

Location, location, location!
Just steps from beautiful Windansea Beach with incredibly easy access. Check-in was simple, and Kimberly was very communicative throughout our stay.
The second-floor one-bedroom apartment is well-suited for two adults. The couch was comfortable, and the upstairs patio was amazing. We especially loved the upper deck, perfect for enjoying sunsets and relaxing on sunny afternoons. The fire pit was a nice bonus in the evenings.
The location is also close to many great restaurants and coffee shops. We especially enjoyed visiting the La Jolla Open Aire Market.
Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned and were disappointed that we couldn’t recover two weeks of unused rent. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

This rental was a good beach experience, cozy single bedroom but with all the essentials and a nice roof deck with view of the ocean. Kimberley described the place accurately and well, and was quick and responsive to the couple of inquiries that we made. We would definitely stay there again.

This place had lots of charm. Stellar location. We stayed with our 2 daughters and loved the short walk to the beach and stores/restaurants/shops, plus it was halfway between LEGOLAND and the Zoo. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop, drinking coffee and wine, playing games and sun bathing. We worried about no AC in the condo but actually slept great at night with the windows open, even got chilly. It fits 4 easily, especially if someone sleeps in the game room. If I had one improvement area it would be the main couch, adults couldn’t sleep there but the kids did ok.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Perfect spot for couples going on vacation. Walking distance to a beautiful small beach where we watched the sunset every night. Walking distance or short drive to lots of food spots too. A very quiet and peaceful area. Kimberley was helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect little spot just a short walk away from our favorite beach in San Diego -- depending on the tides it's a different experience every time! Walking distance to multiple great restaurants (The Cottage for breakfast y'all! And The Taco Stand's churros are a must), fun game room, comfortable, quiet space/neighborhood. We had a great time staying here! Wonderful location, walking distance to Windandsea beach (great sunset spot) and several restaurants as well as a market. There were some issues with ants being present throughout our stay, however, Kimberly was very responsive and had pest control come while we were out and about. This place was a wonderful find! We are so happy to have found this gem. Kimberley was always quick to respond with any questions we had. The place was as described. Loved the nice seating area in the living room and the kitchen worked for our needs. The bathroom had a wonderful rain showerhead. The king sized bed took up most of the bedroom but it was SO comfy and my husband absolutely LOVED the pillows so it was a great place to lay our beds after a busy day. We loved the rooftop deck and the firepit up there as the views were lovely. The hot tub was great for relaxing as well in the secluded ground level. While we didn’t get a chance to use the game room area it was a great setup. Laundry area was good too. It was a great location- walked to the ocean everyday and little breakfast places too. Kimberley had a nice little suggestion booklet for places to eat and things to do. All in all, it was a nice little place to stay and we would stay there again if we get the chance.

This Airbnb is in the perfect location! Very walkable to the beach. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The Airbnb itself was very quaint! It is quite small, my husband is 6’5 and struggled, I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people (if you have a tall family like us). We only had two of us and it felt pretty small. However, the space was very cute and had what we needed. The kitchen had the very basics so make sure you assess the pots/pans before you start cooking. There is no dishwasher so be prepared to wash your own dishes. Kimberly was very responsive, allowed us to check in a few hours early, and left detailed check in instructions. Overall, Kimberly’s place was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. The walk to the beach and to coffee shops is really the cherry on top!

This condo and surrounding area was beautiful and very peaceful. Super close proximity to beach and great local spots made it very convenient and enjoyable. Hot tub was clean and a great addition to this rental. Rooftop access was also another great feature we were glad to experience. Overall Kimberly’s place had everything we needed and more would come again.

Awesome private space to relax in La Jolla! Quiet space with a private yard that allowed me to unwind. Stores and restaurants within a few minute walk for essentials, short drive into downtown La Jolla. Ocean views from the rooftop!
