Jersey Retreat #4

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront property! The home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, perfect for our group. There are quite a few stairs, but that’s fairly standard for a beachfront property and well worth it for the location and views.
The living room and master bedroom face the beach and offer beautiful views. We enjoyed both the sunset and sunrise from the property, which was a highlight. The beach is just across the street, and there’s a convenient outdoor shower on the side of the complex for rinsing off sand.
Parking was a little hectic, but the host was very helpful and responsive. The location was excellent—close to Starbucks and the boardwalk.
The only issue was gnats in the kitchen, so we had to keep our food covered. Hopefully, this can be addressed for future guests.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to the beach!

Great vacation! Super helpful staff. Had a problem with the built-in microwave on the first morning. A handyman was there within an hour with a replacement. Window washers arrived that same day to clean all the glass, so our views of the beach were perfectly clear. Things to note before you go: lots of stairs, the unit doesn’t have AC, but did provide portable fan, since it is right on the beach there is unavoidably rust on metal throughout.

First of all, the place was clean and the host was helpful.The parking space was not big enough to park and get out of the car without hitting the other car doors. Not a good if you have young kids or elderly because of the stairs. It did say no elevator, but did not think it was like this. There are 25 steps to the condo with your luggage. That is just the landing for the 1st floor which has 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Then you have to go down 8 steps to the living room. Back up to the main level and then up to next level 8 steps to the master bedroom and bath. Then, go up 8 more steps to the 3rd bedroom and bath. And, the floor is porcelain tiles, which would really be bad if you fell.Only 1 closet to hang clothes, and it was on the main level. The bed frame is a shin buster. The master bedroom was real weird with the glass doors and window to the inside of the house, and it was queen bed, not a king.First day, the TV didn't work. They did buy a new one for the next day and my husband put it up with a butter knife.Internet in the living room was always buffering because the modem is in the front bedroom closet. Hardly any silverware and no condiments. Would have been nice to have sugar, sweeteners and catsup or mustard. Was not told about the showers and the access to the beach. We thought maybe we were walking on the other peoples condo.No AC, but it did post that. All you have to do is open the door and window and get cross circulation. A lot of fans throughout.

This property definitely features a unique multi-level design, and while we do note the stairs and the lack of AC on our listing, we hear you on how the steps can be a workout with luggage or younger/elderly guests. We also take your notes about the kitchen stocking, the closet space, and the Wi-Fi signal seriously. WIFI situation has been addressed and we shared the feedback about possibly getting more closet space. Exactly as depicted. Quiet neighborhood on the Bay, walking distance to everything. Perfect for a family gathering. Great with our elderly parents as the elevator made it so they never had to take the stairs.

This was a great house with beautiful views of the ocean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were updated and very clean and comfortable. Plenty of utensils and pans for cooking if you choose to do so. Please note that all the bedrooms and bathrooms have steps to reach them. There is not a bedroom or bathroom on the living room level. There are three different levels in the house. The patio on the middle level was a great place to relax. Beautiful views of the ocean. The house is in a great area with the boardwalk within an easy walk. The beach itself is huge and there is a great walking/bike path right outside the house. I highly recommend this house.

Very nice location right on the boardwalk/beach. From the door it's about a 10' walk to the sand. Loved that it was so close. 5 min walk to coffee shop and many restaurants. Loved the big slider door on main level, wish the deck was off the living room and not the bedroom. Furniture was a little dated but mattresses were pretty comfortable. PARKING IS TIGHT! We had a ford expedition and had about 3" of clearance on either side of vehicle and had to back it in each time. That was the most difficult part of the stay. With all 4 cars parked it was extremely hard to get out to the sidewalk because of the 8 trash cans between the back of the cars and the house. Didn't use the kitchen at all since we were there less than 48 hours. Looked basically stocked from what I could see. If you want to be ON the Beach this is a great spot for you. About a 5 min walk to the closest lifeguard stand if you want to be in the water with someone actively watching you/kids. Would stay here again. Just would like living room furniture updated a bit.
