Beautiful vacation rental! We've rented numerous beach homes at Mission Beach and this is one of the best. Very spacious given that the bedrooms are on one floor and the living/dining/kitchen are on the top floor. This rental could easily accommodate 6 guests and you would not feel cramped. Loved the rooftop deck and it did not bother us that the other rental shares the rooftop space. Quality space with great kitchen appliances, comfortable beds and wonderful washer/dryer. Steps to the beach! Tip for future guests - The front door to the unit is the only door next to the 3 garage doors. We were a tad confused but probably our error. Garage is really tight. We had a mid size truck and it took some time to park but glad we had a garage! Wonderful stay and awesome communication!

Had a great stay here—super clean and literally right on the beach. The host was responsive and easy to work with, which made everything smooth. The AC units worked great and kept the place as cool as we wanted.There was some construction next door, but it really wasn’t a big deal. My only minor note is that the listing doesn’t fully show how the rooftop patio is shared/positioned with the other unit, and the view is more limited since it sits behind the neighboring rooftop. That might’ve been on me for not catching it in the photos, though.Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone considering staying here and would come back again.

This condo was very clean and had all the amenities need to make for an amazing stay! The layout was a bit tricky for our kids especially with all of the stairs but the bedrooms were nice with big comfy beds. The laundry in unit was great too. The views from the deck offer amazing sunsets that we enjoyed almost nightly! Our visit was during a heat wave for March and the mini split A/C came in handy on serval occasions. The location was perfect for us with easy beach access. SDVR’s staff was very friendly as well. For the price I’d argue you won’t find a better condo than this! We will be back in October ❤️

The location is ideal for enjoying the beach, the boardwalk, bike board rentals etc. 5 minutes away! We had an awesome stay at La Siesta. The place itself is nicely furnished and well kept. There was a couple spots they were in the process of remodeling but no big deal to us. The outside deck was great. Just keep in mind its also part of the rental house but with a large separation in-between the two. The hosts were very welcoming and even went out of the way to bring us a couple beach chairs. The only hiccup that i hope they will learn from is; We decided to add an extra night onto our stay and by doing so our original door code to get in had expired on our previous departing date and there was no mention of a new code. After finding out the next evening we tried twice to contact the emergency manager and after about 45 minutes of total time we finally got a call back with a new code. We were definitely glad it got sorted out and the Manager was polite about it but still shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. At the end we highly recommend this place and may be back sometime to rent again. Thanks SDVR!

It was the perfect location for walks up and down the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach walkway and bike rentals and great restaurants are literally a block away! The location was perfect because the beach is way less busy than down by Belmont Park, but Mission Beach is the place to be! We rented bikes and rode down to Belmont were there are rides, tons of food, and shops. There are many shops and restaurants really close by as well. The bike, surfboard, and paddle board rentals are literally across the street. Very reasonable rentals! As all the reviews say, the roof top deck is very cool and we spent a lot of time up there especially in the evening. We watched the Sea World fireworks every night. The place was clean and cozy, and there was plenty of room. Not sure why there is no picture of the kitchen because it was a lot more spacious than I expected. A few things to keep in mind, these are things I brought extra of that were must haves...spices for cooking, plastic wrap and tin foil, extra bath towels(even though clean ones are provided, at the beach things don't tend to dry out very quickly),kitchen towel (only one provided) extra chairs(the beach top deck only has really 4 and one lounge. Also wish I would've brought a big bowel. There are plenty of utensils, small bowls,and silverware, but no wine opener or cookie sheet. Luckily everyone is nice down there and we borrowed these two items from a neighbor. Having a parking spot was great, but there is a telephone pole kind of in the way so it can be a little tricky. Our minivan fit with plenty of room to spare. I'm not sure if a full size SUV would be able to make it in there. We would definitely rent this unit again!

The location is very convenient, safety and you can do everything by walking or biking. There are good restaurants around, coffee places, market, and of course in front of the beach!! My son loved the surfing lesson we arranged with the Pacific surf school located right in front of our house. It was a very easy 20 min walk to Belmont Park, or the Mission Beach pier. It was peaceful and quiet, but you could walk to those areas for restaurants and excitment. The private rooftop deck was amazing, and the sunsets were gorgeous! It was so nice to be able to lay out on the beach, and run back to the rental if we needed anything. It was easy to find, and the kitchen supply was awesome! We cooked every night! Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and cute, the shower was a little gross, had a hole you could see into the drywall. Would have been nice to have a few beach toys, buckets, boogie boards, etc. available for the kids so we didn't have to buy or rent.

Reviewer Comments: we loved this cozy, clean, centrally located place! wouldn't change a thing... except the very early check-out time of 10am. in the future, i would look into a place that has a check-out of noon at least. thank you so much!

The Sun Deck was perfect, on top of the world, with the ocean straight in front of us. We plan on bringing our granddaughters back to San Diego and we hope this property will be available.
