Rosemont Hideaway

Cute home, had everything we needed for this family trip. The host was always very friendly and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our visit here.
Only note- There was a heat wave in the entire southwestern US and many coastal homes do not have A/C, so the host’s fans helped (they are stored in the closets). I recommend bringing a stronger fan or two, if you visit in September, to sleep comfortably just in case summer lingers. Being from the area, we also knew to open all windows for a breeze. The upstairs primary bedroom is much cooler from the breeze, than the two downstairs. Then on day three the temps dropped a bit and we were just fine.
Otherwise the home is comfortable and relaxing and was a really good place to stay. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, clean, and we walked to nearby restaurants. The beach is also walkable.
Tip- from street, look for “543” address, because yours is behind it. There’s a spot for 1 midsize car in front of your entry gate. Street parking easy.

Enjoyed our stay, location is terrific. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach. The place is spacious, clean and has plenty of landscaped outdoor space.
The only demerit was the lack of air conditioning which I only missed one afternoon when it was quite hot and humid. Otherwise it was pleasant with fans in every room and additional portable fans even in August.

My family of five enjoyed our stay in the home. Check in and out was smooth and host was very responsive. While some parts of the home looked a little worn, overall it was well equipped with everything we needed and very spacious. Having beach towls, sand toys and chairs were nice to have. The place is located on a quite and cute neighborhood that felt very safe. There are many places to eat and things to do nearby.

We loved our stay for spring break. Walking to the beach was so easy. The place was super clean. There was a sprinkler issue and they addressed it promptly. The hot tub was great. La Jolla is a great area with lots to do and within 20-30 minutes of lots of great San Diego activities - zoo, USS Midway, Coronado Island, Olde Town, etc. Super safe and quite neighborhood. Great for a family getaway.

This Airbnb was a perfect stay for my family of five plus our small dog. Spacious rooms, plenty of sleep space.
The hot tub was a nice relaxing end of our day. They provided a basket of towels which I didn't notice right away specifically for the hot tub which is very nice.
Fully fenced in backyard, allowed my elderly dog to roam and without worry.
Multiple spots to sit and have coffee in the morning outside,enjoying some local plant life and watch hummingbirds.
I would recommend staying here again, I really wish I had more time here. Thank you for such a great stay in La Jolla.
(remember this is Not a young house. there are many things that need to be fixed around the place, from general wear and tear, but all in all it was a great stay! had all the amenities listed, and it had all the different things you need in the kitchen and everything worked perfectly)

Nice location for walking to breakfast. Dedicated off street parking. Had grass area for pups. Plenty of hot water. Liked having in house washing machine, BBQ grill and hot tub.
Unit tucked in back, which we had a bit of difficulty locating, but Kimberly got right back to us for clarification.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The house is spacious, so we all had room to spread out. The location was perfect. The property is set back so it is quiet and private. We could walk to the beach and restaurants in the area. Kimberly was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Rosemont Hideaway is a little bit of paradise. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to the market and coffee shop and having breakfast or dinner on the beach. The people of La Jolla were welcoming, and the service was amazing every place we visited. Kim is such a responsive host, providing us with recommendations for anything we wanted to do! We will definitely return to San Diego and stay in one of Kim’s properties again! Wonderful trip!

This house was the perfect family vacation home. It was spacious and clean snd had lots of extras that were perfect for our stay. Escaped for a little getaway with the girls to Kimberley’s Airbnb recently and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Clean, bright, comfy and spacious - enough space to enjoy ourselves together and retreat to our own spaces to unwind. Walked to a beautiful beach for sunset the first night, and to have dinner at Nautilus Tavern which was recommended by the host herself in her welcome notes. Enjoyed the hot tub! Quiet at night too. A great stay.

We had a wonderful stay in La Jolla! The location is perfect, right near the beach and a lovely walk to bird rock along this pedestrian path. The Airbnb was nice, especially the yard / patio and hot tub - we had our dog and kids and it was perfect to hang out and relax! Kimberly was very responsive. Would definitely come back!

This was a perfect place for my family and I to celebrate our holidays together. Quick walk to the beach, workable kitchen for cooking. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy each others company. We had a wonderful weekend. Great location - 5 minutes walk to Windansea Beach and local restaurants.
Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated rooms. We loved having the hot tub in the backyard too.
Kimberley was kind enough to allow us to check in earlier which caused a minor issue with the door code but she was super responsive and resolved it quickly.
Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at this Airbnb. The fully enclosed yard was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather with our dog—it was such a great space to relax in. If you love La Jolla and you love Birdrock this place is great. While it doesn’t have a view, it’s lovely, private, and tucked away on a flag lot. Beautiful garden. Excellent outdoor entertaining area. It is indeed an oasis! Walk to Windansea which is the best beach in San Diego in my opinion!

I am a local, and stayed here while my home was having some work done. I chose this area because of its proximity to the beach, andit’s walkability. You really can’t go wrong here. Kimberley’s place was a real gem, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few minutes walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego. The home shares a driveway with a few other friendly neighbors. The street has plenty of parking, but best of all it is a dead end, so there’s very little traffic or noise. The host was friendly, responsive, and the home had everything we needed. Thank you!
