Amazing house!! Perfect location! Walking distance from a lot of things. We had a very large group for a bachelorette trip, so having so many bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was perfect. We did have to buy toilet paper because only 2 of the bathrooms had a roll when we got there, though. Besides that the house is great and the rooftop balconies were a highlight of the whole trip!

This is an excellent property for a large family. We have been staying on Mission Beach for many years as our family has grown and this is by far the best property that we have found, but we know it will be a little small as we continue to grow. So we also booked the unit below 3587, which is 3585, for next summer. That will give us seven bedrooms, which should be plenty for all of the family members who will be coming. The only reason I gave cleanliness four star instead of five is that the front windows were not very clean. I spent some time on our first day cleaning bird poop off the front windows. A little unfortunate since the spectacular view through that window is amazing! Hope we don’t have to do that next year. Other than that everything was just about perfect.

This is a must stay property. My family of 14 fit perfectly in this lovely home! There were more than enough bathrooms, which is greatly needed for a large family. The views were incredible and location of home was close, but not to close to the hustle bustle of the boardwalk. Parking was way inconvenient, but not the property fault, just the way mission beach is.

It was a beautiful house, wonderful for multiple generations. The location was amazing, with the best decks and views in Mission Beach. We were there for 4 nights and it was the perfect amount of time, anything less would have been a disappointment because there was so much to do. We rented bikes and a surfboard, went shopping in the local shops, walked along the beach, and did lots of people watching. I would highly recommend. The house has a lot of steps, it's not great for anyone with ADA requirements.

We had a fabulous stay at this property for a multi-generational Christmas! It looks just like the photos, and having the ocean right outside was just wonderful. There was enough space for us all to be together when we wanted (7 total people, 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 1 kid age 12, and aunt and uncle) and also to be separate when we wanted. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts; they were so friendly and very responsive - we noticed a crack in the coffee pot and were worried we would make it worse by using it, so they brought us a new one the same day we told them about it. (Christmas morning is much better with coffee.) If you stay here, do pay attention to the size of the parking spaces - they provide the dimensions in the listing, but the spaces are quite small. We could get my parents’ sedan into the larger of the 2 spaces, but the large SUV we rented was not at all going to fit. It worked out ok though because we were always able to get street parking within 2 or 3 blocks from the property, which was just fine for us. All in all, we loved it and would happily come back!

I have stayed in 5 different places in Mission over the last few years and this is by far the best property and location. It can comfortably accommodate a large family+ and has plenty of space for people to enjoy decks, privacy, etc. The only thing that it lacks are toys like paddle boards, bikes, etc. due to the fact that there's a carport not a garage. Amazing place that is super special.

We had a wonderful time! The location can’t be beat and being right on the beach was terrific. The house had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 6 teenage boys. The house was well stocked but the kitchen dishes and cabinets were a bit dirty. Also, when we had an issue with the fan remote, we never heard back from the property manager. That said, we would highly recommend this place!

We had a group of 9 adults meet for my husbands 50th. This was perfect as everyone had their own bedroom. The house was clean and just as advertised. Opening up the windows filled the home with cool and fresh ocean air. It was wonderful scenery being right on the beach. The ocean walk led you to plenty of restaurants and entertainment in either direction. Plus a grocery store is only a mile away. I don’t know why this is important but I love the strong water pressure from all bathrooms. It’s always a bonus! We would definitely book this home again for San Diego.

This was an awesome place. My son graduated from one of the local universities and we had family and friends coming from as far as New York. The views were amazing. Rooms clean. Kitchen well stocked. My 87 year old mother enjoyed her stay so much that she did not take any arthritis pain medication! The roof was perfect for our BBQ get together. Again, amazing views. Lots of photos taken. The parking was tight, but I was able to put my SUV in the spot. Just can’t say enough good stuff about our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We had 4 adults and 3 children for a sprint break trip. The place was in a great location and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Kitchen was stocked and the place was clean. We were close to Belmont park and walking distance to restaurants. The only issue we had was the ice from the fridge was not working. Would stay at this place again. Parking is very tight but doable.

This is an amazing property and its location could not be better from a beach lover's perspective. Plenty of space for all to be together or to split up in individual groups for more privacy. It's only a short walk to markets, restaurants, and other locations/activities if you just can't take any more beach sights and sounds - we did not have that problem. The parking spots are a bit tight so plan accordingly (come w/ smaller vehicles or an understanding that you will have to park on the street in the local area).. Wi-Fi connectivity and speed are great on the upper level but a little less so on the main level. Cellular coverage on AT&T and Verizon were fine. Enjoy!

We loved this spot. Much roomier than other spots we've rented in Laguna area. At first I didn't like that it was only the 2nd and 3rd floor (which was clear on the listing but I missed it) but I liked the privacy after I got used to it. Location is great because it's right on the busy path but not too close to the bars. Shops, restaurants and bars a short walk away.

The whole family was truly impressed and loved that we were so close to the water. We spent Christmas week at this property for a family vacation. We absolutely loved the location right in the middle of Mission Beach and the incredible views from the floor to ceiling windows as well as multiple balconies and terraces throughout the house. Lots of rooms and bathrooms so we did not feel cramped at all--we were seven adults and one baby. My only critique is that the house is a little bit older and more worn than the pictures suggest. Otherwise, thumbs up!

The only recommendations i would give would be to have some umbrella's in the unit to give you some shade, we all got rather burnt and i know this isn't possible but air-conditioning would help. The back rooms get a little warm and stuffy so we definitely used the fans. Also there was a baby gate in one of the closets, there were games in the cabinet in the hallway and we even found a pack-in-play all of which were were told the unit didn't provide. Good things to know when your coming to the unit with kids. All in all, probably the best place we've stayed in yet!

Wow, the views from the 3 different level decks were spectacular, especially at night! And the layout of the house was SO comfortable - the kitchen accommodated 1-2 people; the bedrooms were all very comfortable. It was a great location to take walks on the boardwalk, go to the beach, sit out on the decks and people watch. Definitely a memorable experience for our entire family!!

Perfect amount of room for everyone, and the location can't be beat. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only thing to keep in mind is not all the outlets on the upstairs decks work, which we discovered when trying to put together a dinner party one evening. Other than that everything is exceptionally well kept. This house is a gem.

We never felt cramped, plenty of room for everyone. Parking can be a bit tricky. It was great to have 2 parking spaces available - they are tight-but if you read the description - you have been forewarned. We loved our stay and the staff we worked with at SDVR were wonderful. Definitely would stay here again.

We especially liked the outdoor terraces where we could look at the ocean and relax. Amazing views, multiple balconies is a definite plus. Being near tower 18 is nice, the beach isn't nearly as busy. Parking is very tight, but it works. We will definitely rent again!

Greatful to have avoided the "May Gray" we spent the days either lounging on the rooftop patios or just across the Boardwalk playing games. As the evenings closed in the close proximity of both Pacific and Mission Beach social areas was great. No cab's needed just a nice stroll down the ocean front walk. Amazing times had by all.

We spent the entire Thanksgiving holiday with my mom, and my brother and sister and their teenage / college age kids. Modern furnishings, nice kitchen with granite counters, good common area, and many places to sleep. We were able to fit 12, including a pull out bed upstairs. Location right on Ocean Front Walk, directly on the beach with big bay windows and many balconies, including a great rooftop. Steps right down to the sand. Our only complaint was that there could have been more basic amenities provided, like shampoo, soap, towels, etc. Perhaps ask for more in advance or just bring your own. Beautiful house, beautiful location -- waves directly in front of you. Highly recommend.

Vacation rentals are a bit different from hotel stays, we provide what we call a "Starter package" The initial necessities like soap, towels, dish soap, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll paper towels, dishwashing liquid & 2 dishwasher tablets, 2 garbage bags. That way you will have those until the needed time to shop for an additional amenities you may need during your stay. Again, we value your reviews and appreciate your business and referrals.

The transaction and service was above my expectations. I could not believe how easy the management company made the check in and out process. This is like renting a car from Hertz gold. You show up walk into the house and never have to deal with any paper work or ****. I have rented before and the check in and out process took valuable time from our vacation. Not the case here. They made sure everything was perfect without being in our way. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone I know and this rental company. SDVR does it right and makes it easy. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration and we brought our family to San Diego, mostly from the East Coast. We were happy to find that the house was clean, comfortable, convenient and well-equipped. The newly-remodeled kitchen had everything we needed for some great meals and had enough room for easy preparation of the meals. The many seating areas and comfy furniture suited all ages. The teens in the group loved being on the prom and loved the views from the decks. The beach equipment added to their fun. The property is well-maintained and the cleaning people made sure we had everything necessary, especially lots of extra towels. If we could make any suggestions, we would suggest extra kitchen towels. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows, but it would be good to have covers on the extra pillows. The grill was a real plus, however, you might check and replace the heat deflectors to make the grill's use even better. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Enjoyed every minute and came home with wonderful memories enhanced by having stayed at 3587 Oceanfront Walk.

We had 4 adult couples that vacation together every year and this property provided all the amenities we were looking for. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and large. The kitchen was great as well as the living room and dining room which was very conducive to all the card playing we liked to do. The patios were outstanding and the location of the property on the boardwalk was absolutely perfect. We are in fact looking at returning next year for our next trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this property for my 30th birthday. We rented both levels and allowed us to have 23 guests stay at the house. It was a perfect rental for such a large group. My only complaint is that the top deck outlets didn't work and there are no lights up there at night to see where you are walking. Aside from that the rental is great for hosting parties and large groups.

The property is in a perfect location with 3 different balconys with a great view. Plenty of accomadations in close proximity. Highly recommend this property on your next beach vacation.

However, access to unload was totally blocked due to construction of a new building to the north. We were forced to crawl through the car and climb through the rear tailgate and for unloading initially to go around the building to the south and come around the front. Also, the construction workers arrival early awakened us every morning other than our last day, Saturday. Of course this is a one-time thing once the new building is completed. Otherwise we still love this condo and find it great for our family!
