1. Tiki Town Adventure Golf at Belmont Park

Belmont Park is San Diego’s premier beachfront amusement park that opened in 1925, but it wasn’t till 2013 that it featured a modern-day pastime—mini golf. Tiki Town Adventure Golf brings putt-putt fun right to The Boardwalk of this historic park. So, choose your putter, pick out your favorite colored golf ball, and set off on the putt-swinging adventure.
Tee off at this tropical island-themed mini golf course. It has 18 holes spanning indoor and outdoor areas that bring Tiki Town to life. Spot quirky tiki statues and masks hiding at each hole hit a bank shot next to a crashed airplane, squeeze in a putt at the pineapple windmill, and strut the greens in front of straw-thatched tiki huts.
Tiki Town saves the best for last. The 18th hole is a live-action volcano erupting with lights and smoke every time someone hits a hole-in-one. It will also get you a free $5 power card to use in the arcade.
This golf course will take about an hour to complete. However, there is plenty more to do, like gaming, laser tag, and wall climbing. Food and drinks are available along Mission Beach Boardwalk and explore the rest of Belmont Park with roller coasters and other family-friendly attractions.
2. Boomers Vista

Strap in the kids and drive to Vista, CA, for a day of fun at Boomer Vista. It has not one but two different 18-hole miniature golf courses. It’s hard to pick a favorite because of each unique theme—Pirate’s Cove and King Arthur’s Royal Course—so check out both if there’s time.
Pirate’s Cove takes putters on a journey through the pirate-ridden seas in search of treasure. Hit your ball through rock caves, spy a ship afloat the waters, and ‘X’ marks the spot where to aim for a hole-in-one. King Arthur’s Royal Course is fit for kings, queens, and even the young princes and princesses. This course winds through a manicured garden. Follow each hole as it navigates to the castle, past waterfalls, windmills, and more.
This family fun center is great for all ages. Play games in the two-story arcade, hit the track to race go-karts and make a splash with number boats. Finally, celebrate the winner of mini golf with a famous hand-spun milkshake from Johnny Rockets., located onside.
3. Pelly’s Mini Golf at Del Mar Golf Center

Our Coastal Garden Retreat is your Encenita escape, just north of San Diego. Tee time is just a short drive away at Pelly’s Mini Golf at the Del Mar Golf Center. It’s one of the best places to mini golf in San Diego County for the best bang for your buck.
This golf center offers two putt-putt golf courses: Ocean Adventure and Surfin’ Safari. Dive into the fun of Ocean Adventure, an 18-hole course. You’ll encounter fun sea creatures at each hole, including sea lions, sharks, and a whale leaping out of the water. Surfin’ Safari lets you hang ten on an 18-hole nautical-themed course. Hit your ball through wave tunnels and beneath wave waterfalls—be careful not to wipe out!
Can’t decide which course to play? Pay for one course and get the second for half price! Games go fast, so you’ll likely play two anyway. Don’t forget to bring a hat because there isn’t much shade on either course.
Warm up for your game on the putting practice greens or test your swing on the driving range after mastering your short game. Del Mar Golf Center also has an onsite Surf’s Up Cafe for a quick snack between rounds.
4. Tappers Golf at The Loma Club

- Address: 2960 Truxtun Rd, San Diego, CA
- Website: tappersgolf.com
You’re never too old to enjoy a round of mini golf. To prove it, The Loma Club recently opened its Tappers Mini Golf & Cocktails concept. Opened in 2021, it’s been a new way to welcome new faces to this legendary golf club.
Tappers Mini Golf is open to all ages but has a fun twist when the adults want to play. It has two courses, The Gator and the Gopher, designed by one of the UK’s best mini-golf builders. The courses feature nine holes, accompanied by gator and gopher statues near each hole.
Get the full experience by indulging in a cocktail while you play. The Loma Club has golf-inspired drinks like the Jungle Birdie and On The Green. There are tables to place your drink as you go through the course. Heads up—the course obstacles get slightly more challenging after each sip.
Both mini golfers and players on the club’s main course can enjoy the newly remodeled clubhouse. If you get hungry after the game, order the signature clubhouse sandwiches served with a golf tee instead of a toothpick holding it together!
If you’re visiting with up to six players, make reservations for this high-end mini-golfing experience online to guarantee your tee time.
5. Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park

- Address: 8190 Miralani Dr, San Diego, CA
- Website: rockinjump.com/sandiego
The Sunny Gardens property is popular for its large private backyard for the kids to play. But less than half an hour away is the ultimate kid’s playground—Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park. It has nine different indoor and outdoor attractions to choose from. Mini golf is a favorite!
Enjoy the weather playing outdoors on this course. Unlike other courses, it doesn’t have a theme. Still, it’s one of the most fun to play, thanks to the natural obstacles incorporated into the course design. Putt over hilly and windy greens that make excellent use of the space. And be careful hitting your ball over the bridge so it doesn’t fall in the mini-waterfall!
Access to the mini golf course is only available with at least a general admission ticket, including mini golf as an add-on. If you’re not in a rush, enjoy the other park attractions like the indoor trampoline zone, Slam-Dunk Zone, the Ninja Challenge Course, Dodgeball, Stunt Bag Arena, X-Beach Jousting, and more.
Rockin’ Jump is a popular spot for birthday parties and kids’ camps, so it can get crowded depending on when you go.
